PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Garrett Chrostek focuses his practice in the areas of land use, real estate, construction, water and local government law. He advises property owners, governmental entities, businesses, agriculturalists, developers, contractors, and homeowner associations on real estate transaction, development, permitting and regulatory compliance, and HOA governance. Garrett also represents clients before the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals, local hearings bodies, and administrative tribunals.
Prior to joining BLJ in 2013, Garrett worked for the City of The Dalles. In law school, Garrett served as an Associate Editor of the Vermont Law Review, held a research fellowship with the Water and Justice Program, clerked for the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA), and worked at the Vermont Law School Land Use Clinic.
